Trenchless Laborer Position
Physical Requirements - Physical abilities required to perform job functions.
- The physical requirements of the job are rough and vigorous. The job requires the ability to move about a job site, which can be littered with new and old construction material and equipment.
- The Laborer is required to get into all areas of the project to complete work.
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
- Movements of walking, bending, reaching, climbing ladders, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending, lifting and flexing the arms, legs, wrists and fingers are required.
- The senses of sight, hearing and the full power of speech.
Working Environment - Typical job site conditions that may be encountered.
- Working and traveling by car and truck will be required in all types of weather ranging from freezing temperatures to hot and humid conditions and from full sun to rain, sleet, or snow.
- Job site conditions may range from very wet and muddy, to dry and dusty, to frozen ground.
- May require working in protected excavations up to 35 feet deep.
- Potentially hazardous conditions will exist on site-SAFETY IS OF THE HIGHEST PRIORITY AT ALL TIMES.

Position Specific Duties:
- Has the skills to use an arc welder and torch.
- Properly rigs pipe to be lowered into the trench.
- Gives hand signals to the hoe operator.
- Properly stages necessary materials, tools and equipment on the job site.
- Lays out work as directed by the Foreman.
- Responsible for reading blueprints and drawings.
- Works with a hoe operator to dig to correct depth.
- Sets up a laser to correct line and grade.
- Uses level to set pipe and manholes.
- Responsible for informing Foreman of materials needed so down time is kept to a minimum.
- Unloads and properly checks in deliveries as directed by the Foreman.
- Prepares tools, equipment, unused materials and supplies for return to the shop as requested by the Foreman.
Fabricator/Welder Position
Construction company looking for qualified applicants for Fabricator/Welder position. Previous experience preferred but not required. Applicant with a good attitude, willingness to learn, and dependability will excel in this position.
The following skills will be required:
- Tsafe operation of hand tools such as grinders, drills and cutoff saws
- knowledge of proper set up of wire feed welder or stick welder
- knowledge of proper use of acetenyl torch
- Understanding plans or drawings
- capable of repairing or fabricating damaged steel components
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
